Al went back to Duke on Friday, May 23rd to meet with his oncology team and talk about treatment moving forward. The great news is that this cancer was caught early, and though it is an aggressive type, the surgery was successful in leaving good margins. An oral chemo option is still being discussed but right now Al is mainly tasked with staying as healthy as he can. He is cleared to drive again and will be happy to get back to more normal life.
